Beware the ColdBlood
A downloadable game for Windows
My First Game Jame: Winter 2020 entry.
You play as a lone "ColdBlood". Your home up in the mountains is being invaded by the "WarmBloods". It's up to you to take them and their heat generating computers out using your ice projectile powers. You can also interact with the computers to disable them.
BUT BEWARE! If your body temp raises too high, you'll enter a weakened state and die. Of course you recover by returning to areas not heated by the WarmBloods' torches or their computers.
Super short. A tutorial level plus three more levels. And if you die, you have to start over.
This is my first game ever, so... I hope you find something to enjoy if you do play it.

Thanks. I actually really liked your game. I have a lot of trouble thinking abstractly, which is why I went with a platformer to begin with...
This isn't bad at all for a first game. Everything works and the game seems to be bug-free, which is impressive enough. Even though the sprites aren't animated, I still like the pixel art quite a bit. Congrats on finishing your first game!
Thank you. Yeah, I was so worried about getting everything working that I forgot to do animations. Then when everything came together...no more time left. Animations are definitely going to be a higher priority on the next project.
